| Introduction | I'm a consultant with a background in entrepreneurial start-ups, marketing, and PR... I'm a coach to creative professionals (mostly self-employed). I co-produce & co-curate Moment's Notice with Katarina Eriksson & Rosemary Hannon. I have a master's degree in transformative arts, a bachelor's degree in anthropology and a certificate in Professional Coactive Coaching. I sometimes teach & perform improvised, body-based physical theater. I used to be licensed to teach Action Theater, but stopped renewing my license. Long ago, I performed with San Francisco's Khadra International Folk Ballet & with New Orleans' Komenka Ethnic Dance Ensemble; before that I did traditional theater. I'm influenced by Buddhist, Advaita Vedanta, Tai Chi,Chi Gong & yoga teachers. I'm interested in improvisation as an awareness practice, seeking authentic presence in the studio, in performance, in daily life... I'm fascinated by brain science and neuro-psychology. I'm trying to figure out how to get my left & right brain to play well together more often. That's easier to do in art than in business and for some reason I keep thinking the two can be united. |
