IntroductionBorn in the UK 1954 and a lifelong student of the Great Mystery, I lived in the USA for thirty years before moving to Peru in 2006. I'm married to Lourdes Jibaja de Stevens. Between us we have eight children and ten grandchildren. Up until recently we lived in the Sacred Valley near Cusco and worked in the Kusi Kawsay school in Pisac. We have a non-profit association, Star of the South, which acts as a legal vehicle to receive volunteers and supports a new elementary after-school program for Shipibo children in the Peruvian Amazon near Pucallpa. I have worked as a cabinet-maker and carpenter for well over thirty years and continue this out of my workshop in the village of Sauce. I also offer visitors cruises on the 10 meter sailing catamarĂ¡n based at Laguna Sauce, San Martin, Peru.
InterestsDeep spirituality, exploring the Great Mystery, shamanism, anthroposophy, music, muscle and wind-powered boats, exploring, hiking, making animal noises for indigenous children.
