| Introduction | Dan Friedlander represents clients in the development, building, and construction industries in transactional, administrative, and regulatory matters. He also represents clients in litigation before both state and federal courts. As land use and environmental counsel to many of the nation's top home builders, Dan assists clients in navigating the complex maze of California's land use and environmental laws and regulations. His practice also includes advising clients on the applicability of state and federal prevailing wage laws to construction and improvement projects. In addition, Dan is a certified member of the American Planning Association's (APA) American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). He is also currently the Chair-Elect of the Planning and Law Division of the APA. Dan received his bachelor's degree in City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He currently resides in Agoura Hills, California, with his wife and two children, where he serves on the City's General Plan Advisory Committee. Dan is also a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is a competitive submission grappler. |
