Introduction	During my freshman year of college I had the opportunity to visit a remarkable school in Arusha Tanzania. I did not, at the time, know I wanted to teach. Nine years later, I now know that I will stay within the world of education. After writing my undergraduate thesis on the Tanzanian school, I have gone on to teach English to Thai university students, art to Burmese refugee children, Shakespeare to inner-city Boston middle-schoolers and critical thinking to Cambodian college women. In this blog I hope to merge my passion for education with my other great passion, writing.
