Stoop On The Steppe

Location	Wild West, Kazakhstan
Introduction	I am a resident alien in a 140 year old, small but growing city, miles from nowhere, on the Great Steppe. If lived in a house, I would be tempted to make the stoop my place to perch as I dabbled with my thoughts about life and work. Tempted that is until the hot summer wind kicked up the dust and the sand or the cold winter gale drove spikes into my cheeks. So I content myself with sitting in my warm-enough apartment, glancing out the windows and pretending. This is my Stoop on the Steppe.
