Introduction	Before starting my consulting business, I spent 20 years in network and local radio and television, most recently as a Washington, DC based correspondent for ABC News. During those years I was fortunate to work with some of the best in the industry, and learn from their excellence. I was awarded th DuPont Columbia Award for Excellence in Journalism and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Outstanding Reporting. I was part of the ABC News team covering the events of September 11th was commended by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. In 2005 I was named Alumni of the Year by the Coalition of Christian Colleges and Universities. Today, I teach my clients how to engage local, regional and national media to better tell their own story. I work with leaders in higher education, public policy analysts, federal law enforcement officials, authors and film makers.
