| Introduction | I believe that all children can be successful learners. Through creating a safe, loving and structured classroom environment, I can guide each child to grow and learn with joy. My education includes an undergraduate degree in US History and a Masters of Teaching, both from the University of Virginia. My teaching certification allows me to work as a classroom teacher in grades K-8, as well as with students with learning disabilities. I have taught for eight years in various grades and locations, including Kindergarten in Italy and third grade in the Virgin Islands. I live with my husband, daughter and two dogs in Keswick. Before coming to Broadus Wood, I was a full time farmer, growing organic vegetables and flowers to sell in the Charlottesville community. |
