| Introduction | I was an athlete growing up, but got side-tracked along the way with business pursuits. Got a little out of shape and didn't run for close to 10 years. Along the way, became an accomplished entrepreneur and sales professional, but paid for that success with a deteriorating body that didn't take well to lack of exercise. At the end of 2007 I decided it was time to turn back the clock...time to get back into running. The journey has been tough at times and full of challenges, but I have stayed focused on enjoying every step of the way. Now I can say I AM a marathoner having just completed my fourth marathon and training now for the Rock N Roll Marathon in San Diego May 31, 2009. Nobody said it would be easy and it hasn't been. However, it has been an amazing experience and I highly recommend it. |
