| Introduction | Jeannie Harrison is the founder of The Adulting Podcast, a weekly show of, by, and for millennials and others who are trying to figure out this growing up thing. She is also the owner of Uphill Climb Botanics, a wellness and beauty shop dedicated to all-natural self-care that's kind to the environment.
Jeannie graduated with her Master's in government from from Georgetown University in 2014, where she wrote a thesis on Millennial civic engagement. She frequently presents to organizations about reaching and relating to millennials. She holds two Bachelor’s degrees in political science and psychology from Marshall University. She supported herself through her undergraduate education by serving as a SADD National Youth Leader and as the Student Coordinator for West Virginia SADD. During her five years on the WV SADD staff, she had the opportunity to help build the very new program into a thriving state institution, and to encourage many organizations to incorporate the youth voice into their decision-making.
