Introduction	ನಾನೆಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗೆಳೆಯರ ಪಡೆ, ನನ್ನ ಮೂಲವಾದ ನನ್ನಪ್ಪ - ನನ್ನಮ್ಮ, ನಾ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ನನ್ನೂರು ಹಾಲುಗೊಣ, ನಾ ದನ ಕಾದ ಹಟ್ಣದಮ್ಮನ ಹಿಪ್ಪೆ ತೋಪು, ನನ್ನ ಕತೆಗಳ ಕಣ್ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳಿದ ನನ್ನಕ್ಕ ತಂಗಿಯರು, ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ಹಿಡಿದು ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅಪಾರ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು,ಎಲ್ಲೋ ಒಮ್ಮೊಮ್ಮೆ ಹೊಡೆದ, ಬೈದ ಗುರುಗಳು, ನನ್ನ ಹಾಲುಗೊಣದಿಂದ ಮೈಸೂರಿನವರೆಗೆ ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಓದಿಸಿದ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು, ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳು, ರೋಸಿ ರೋಸಿ ನನಗೆ ಹೊಸಪಾಠಗಳ ಕಲಿಸುತಿರುವ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು... ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ನಾನೆಂಬ ’ನಾನು’ ಹೀಗಿರುವುದು...
