| Introduction | Erika McClain, the creator of Fleeting Moments of Grandeur, lives in beautiful but damp Portland, Oregon. |
| Interests | Fashion, Art, Interior Design, and Music |
| Favorite movies | Kicking and Screaming(the one with Chris Eigeman not Will Ferrell but thats a cute movie too)I want to write more pretentious movies down that I truly enjoy but lets face it the movies I watch over and over again are girly goodness ones like "The Devil Wears Prada" I can watch that over and over again just for the clothes! |
| Favorite music | The Pixies, Pulp, The Ramones, Most Brit Pop like Cold Play tickles me. I also have really been enjoying a bit of Nelly Fertado lately. I love classic Punk like the Ramones and the Sex Pistols but you will probably catch me listening to more techno and trance than anything else. Once in a while some Break Beats, Jungle or Hardcore will creep in too. |
| Favorite books | Seriously too many for this space. Books I remember to recommend to people all the time would be more appropriate. How about "Strangers and Refugees: A Walk in Portland, Oregon" by Chuck Palahniuk, this book is about my home town that I adore for its specialness. Or "Geek Love" by Katherine Dunn, this novel is just a good read, totally odd but amazing. Also for you fashion history buffs "The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed" its long but you learn a lot about how the big fashion houses work. |
