| Introduction | I am a 42 year old mom of 2. My son, D, 8 is in 2nd grade. My daughter, A, is 5 and in kindergarten. A was born with a host of medical problems (see here for a complete listing). She is thriving now and is my miracle baby. My husband, J, is 39 and was diagnosed with Young-Onset Parkinson's Disease at the age of 34. I am also a runner and a triathlete. Needless to say, life has thrown us some curveballs. I'm happy to report, though, that life, while challenging, is good....and I'm hoping to convey that through my blog. |
