| Introduction | "About Me". It has all changed because I have changed. I haven't been able to work on my art or in my studio since my son was stillborn in January of 2009. I attended and graduated from an art college in Toronto. I apprenticed with an artist in Japan. My first child, a beautiful girl, was born while we lived in Japan. My husband, baby girl and I returned to Toronto and I set up my studio near our house. Eight years later our son died a few weeks before his due date for no explainable reason. I'm trying to float but it takes all my energy. My creative life is on pause for a while...2009. It is now 2014. My creative life was back for a while and then I got pregnant and took over a year off. Now I have two daughters here with me and a son who travels the universe! They are the best part of my life! A lot has changed for me but most of it has been inside...and I am still working on it. |
