| Introduction | Penny and David have been plying the waters on the Coast of British Columbia for over forty years and have been to Alaska twice. http://oceanairesreturnstoalaska2011.blogspot.com All of the last ten boats we have owned have required a great amount of restoration on our part. Our current vessel "Oceanaire 1" is a 49' is a 1972 Grand Banks Alaskan. We purchased her as a fire rightoff in Tacoma and completely restored her to become the perfect vessel for cruising our waters. Tracey, Drew; Joelie our three wonderful kids and their families are also keen boaters. We were voted 1983 Boating Family of the Year for B.C. by the Marine Trades Assc. We are both Past Commanders of Seymour Squadron. David is Past Commodore of Burrard Yacht Club and Penny served five years as a Director at Deep Cove Yacht Club.
