| Introduction | I've worked in many different fields over the course of a whole lot of years. Here are most of them: I've been a trial and appellate lawyer, written for and performed in original rock bands, done some copyrighting, produced food for top caterers, hotels, and gourmet food stores in NYC, operated a 105 seat restaurant in South Beach, which hosted live bands and events, and was COO of an Internet gourmet food website. I'm currently a Partner in a graphic and web design firm. I live in NYC in the East Village---about 3 miles from where I was born with a roommate and 2 cats. I do a daily spiritual practice and do regular meditation and semi-regular (should do more) yoga practice. I've started teaching a bit in this field as well, though I'm more like a student who likes to explore topics with others than a bona fide spiritual teacher. Hiking is a great passion for me. I've hiked up Mt Washington (highest mountain in the Northeast, at 6288 ft) 7 times and highly recommend it to anyone with the energy for this endeavor---it's highly worth it! I love cooking for my friends. I'll be getting a chance to do that for Christmas with a bunch of them; looking forward to it! |

If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?
There are stars in all of our eyes, but it's what's in our mind that matters. So, the brief answer---when I got tired of looking at them and closed my eyes and experienced the next set of, hopefully, beautiful appearances.
