| Introduction | I, Jonnalagadda Lakshmi Narasimha Rao, imtimately known as J.L. was born in Madras (now Chennai) in 1948. An arts graduate of Andhra University with three majors - English literatare, Philosophy and history. I was with Andhra Prabha daily (Indian Express Group) as a sub-editor. senior sub-editor and shift-in-charge for about two and half decades. Later I switched over to coming2america.com as a content writer. When its information channel was closed after 9/11 attack, I moved to Vijeta Competitions fortnightly as a content writer again. During my four decades of career as a journlist and writer, I wrote many articles and short stories (English). I am not a high thinking simple person but simple thinking simple person. Hence I weave my stories and sketches on simple day to day happenings in simple style. Yet I have my own vision of life which is (I hope) is reflected in whaever I write. Working for Vijeta Competitions, I co-authored Communicative English Grammar, Idioms and Phrases, One Word Vocabulary and Bala Siksha (Telugu). |
