| Introduction | Hello. My name is David and my wife is Eleanor. We welcome you to our blog site. This site is the result of our youngest sons, labors. His name is Michael. I started writing a daily devotional about 4-5 months ago for my two sons and they seem to think that others would enjoy them, so here they are. A little bit about our background. My wife and I retired from full-time pastoral ministry eight years ago. I had the privilege of serving three churches during my active ministry and ministered at our last church for 19 years. One of the greatest joys Eleanor and I share in ministry is teaching Bible studies. We both love to teach God’s Word and feel it was a ministry God wanted us to continue in retirement. We now live in a retirement community in SW Florida and both of us are actively involved in several teaching ministries. In addition to the Bible studies, I recently started writing a daily devotional. Eleanor is active in this ministry as well. I honestly could not do without her editorial skills. She is my editor but she is also my inspiration and has been for 50 years. |
