| Introduction | I have been married to my best friend Earl for over 25 years and looking ahead to our next 25. We are the proud parents of 3, Jeff (he went to Heaven 3-8- 2008, we miss him SO MUCH), Lainie & her husband Dave, Tony & his wife Ann Marie, and their two children, Kylie & Brennon. We think of Dave and Ann Marie as our kids too! The more the better. We have been blessed with these 2 precious grandchildren, Kylie and Brennon. They constantly keep us laughing and on our toes. They are both adorable, smart, funny and so loving! We can't get enough of them. Kylie is 4 and Brennon is 1. We have 2 cats Bruno and Mowgli. I retired in 2000 from 21 years in Retail management and Earl retired for the 3rd time in 2006. He was a Police Sgt for almost 30 years, a D.A.s Investigator and Private Investigator for 12 years. So how do we stay busy?..Trust me; there is never a dull moment it seems!! In fact we pray for them....... |
| Interests | I love volunteering at our hospitals Rehabilation Center (5 years now). I am also a very active member of Soroptimist International. The past 2 years I was one of 4 chairs for our major fundraiser; A Home, Garden & Antique Show. I learned so much, but it pretty much took over my life.Looking forward to a little down time this year. But it is for so many worthy causes that we donate to. Soroptimist means "Best for Women". Of course we don't just provide support and donate to things that are for women and children. Check out www.SIChico.com if you'd like to learn more. I am also involved with a group of women who help fund money for Microcredit loans to women in 3rd World Contries to start their own businesses. It is all non-profit and very fascinating. Read the book "Banker to the Poor" or ask me about it if it peaks your interest. We really can make a change in people's lives! PBS did a wonderful documentry on this about 2 years ago. Love to sing, dance, travel, watch movies and make jewelry!! I recently went surfing for the 1st time and plan to go again. I LOVED it. I'm a "Water Baby" and always have been. Yoga, along with my water exercise is becoming another healthy passion. I love animals and would like to write childrens books about them. Earl enjoys working out, reading and fishing. We both love camping with the RV too. Spending time with family and friends is #1 on our list!!! The MORE the better.. That is what LIFE is all about. :) |
