| Introduction | Wandering academic, for better or worse. Finds mass mediated displays of self a little daunting since I'd rather observe than be observed. If we have multiple audiences, as George H. Mead long ago noted, we also have multiple and and conflicting selves, not all of which meet the demand for coherent narratives. I'm resisting that demand, blog notwithstanding.
