| Introduction | I have created this blog to preserve precious memories and moments I have shared with those I love most. I was born and raised in the beautiful Adirondack mountains. It's still the only place on earth where I truly feel at home and at peace. Since I was 12 years old I was raised as an only child by my Dad as my Mom passed away at a young age. My father was a well-known local artist. These things have significantly shaped who I am today. I have a wonderful husband who I have been married to for 25 years. We met at the beach on a blind date of sorts when we were 16 and 17. It's been a good life together and I cherish each day. We have three children; two biological sons and our daughter, adopted from China at 19 months. Together they make my life complete. I firmly believe that nothing in life occurs by accident. I believe in God, that His son Jesus Christ came into this world to save us from our sins. My life is planned by His perfect design. It's not been a perfect life though because He loves us all enough to give us the freedom of choice. We are works in progress. We just have to do our best to love each other on the journey and strive to learn how to be more like Him everyday. |
