| Introduction | I was drawing constantly from the moment I could hold a pencil. At the age of six I won my first art award - a lovely woman dressed in red with a head full of blue hair. To be fair, it was a "painting" contest and I had never painted before. My intent was to have her dress blue, but some paint dropped squarely on her hair and I quickly decided a blue- haired gal was a great idea. At twelve I had a cartoon printed nationally. In high school I had a comic series called "Shorty and Me" which ran in our local paper. I have costumed for the theater for 15 years now. At one point I dressed the majority of a cast entirely from my own closet. My sister was the "pretty" one growing up, so I figured if I couldn't be cute, I could at least dress great! People often comment "I love your shoes/outfit/skirt/jewelry" and I decided it was time to share my knowledge with those who wanted a little help. I think Everyone should (and Can) look great - no matter their size, shape, lack of funds or ability to put together an outfit. That is what I strive to do - make the world a better place by helping Reveal a Better You! |
