| Introduction | I'm a burn survivor (not a burn victim)...I was burned by boiling grease 4 days until I turned 4 (Jan. 14, 1987). I used to see my scars as a bad thing, but I'm glad I'm burned now b/c God has used my experience to draw closer to Him, to build character, and to help others out who have also been burned. The summer after my 11th grade year, I met some girls and followed them to church with no idea that God was following me all along. When I was about 19, I surrendered my life to Christ, repented of my sins, and placed my trust in nothing less than Jesus' finished work on the Cross of Calvary to cleanse me and make me new. Since going off to college, I have grown tremendously in my faith, and my desire is to become more and more like Jesus Christ every single day. I love to have fun in life, but I understand that the salvation of souls is very serious and is of utmost importance, so I must do all I can through Christ to make sure no one walks off of this earth and into eternal punishment. |
