| Interests | I have always loved to read and write. I love new experiences and I think reading and writing are the best ways to experience the world from another person's perspective or to experience things you could never actually do or experience in your "real life." I have found that writing is also a great way to catalog the things one loves. Speaking of, I love all things beautiful and whimsical - one of the very first stories that I wrote when I was younger was about a unicorn in a magical kingdom. Though I no longer write about unicorns, I still love a good fantasy or romance. Other things I love include my wonderful husband, my dog and my friends and family. Last, I have realized that I discover new things about myself through the act of writing, as writing forces me to think through my decisions and the motivations behind them. Thus, in sum, the point of my blog is to learn more about myself through the process of writing and to enjoy the journey of cataloging my interests, beautiful things, inspirations, and anecdotes and stores about my loved ones. I also hope that my posts make people happy and that I bring inspiration, optimism and lovely things into their lives. |
