| Introduction | My first name, Brittany, came from the maritimes of France and my paternal grandparents came from the Maritimes of Canada, making me the 'official' MERRY THYME FAIRY! I have lived several lives so far: professional theatre artist, trainer & educational/touring director with Famous PEOPLE Players (www.fpp.org), dabbler in watercolours, ESL teacher, international wanderer, karaoke queen, honourary Brazilian clown, McDonald's cashier, drama teacher/director & creator of "Ecstatic Dramatic Kids," pregnant yogi, Hygiene Heroine, published poet, starving greeting card maker, drummer, Buddhist tinkler, evangelical dancer, random actor of kindness, make-believe figure skater, fun-raiser, children's TV puppeteer, big sister, and currently a full-time mama to my 7-month old child of the universe, Elliott. We live in our cozy 'Bulgarian Villa' on the edge of the Don Valley oasis in Toronto with our beloved cat, Gadjette, and my wacky European cohort in love, Ilia. |
