| Introduction | I’m a retired Professional Firefighter and EMT, and finished my career in the fire service as the departments training officer. During my formative years, I had many interests which basically revolved around being in the great outdoors. I enjoyed and still do Canoeing, Rafting and Jet Boating and for a time owned and operated a charter business taking people out into the wilderness. During the latter part of Firefighting career, I helped a friend of mine start up and manage a International Emergency Medical Support company. We offered modern state of the art advanced life support care to expiates working in foreign usually third world countries. This along with my own natural desire to travel just fuelled my desire to explore the world more when I had the time to do it, hence the journey that is now going to take place. There is plenty of things yet to learn about me, all you have to do is come along and enjoy the ride. |
