Introduction	The Catholic Information Service for Africa (CISA) was started by several Catholic congregations in February 2001, after about two years of preparation, as an E-mail-only service to network the Church in Africa. The first bulletin was sent out two months later in April. The initial founders of CISA include: Comboni Missionaries, Consolata Missionaries, Jesuits, Missionaries of Africa, AMECEA Pastoral/Justice and Peace Desk, Imara Centre (Justice and Peace Desk of the Association of Sisterhood of Kenya). CISA is currently owned and run by the Consolata Missionaries. Email:info@cisanewsafrica.com
