| Introduction | This is my first blog ever. I'm taking the Texas government class because I, as many others, am required to. I believe I have a moderate view on politics because I keep up with politics as much as I tune my baseball skills. I have views and beliefs on a certain number of large issues but there is a lot of gray. I was born up north (Oklahoma, but Texans have such pride they automatically shun me assuming I MUST be a sooner or cowboy fan), raised up north, but have lived as far west as California and as far east as Indiana. Texas government is completely foreign to me, seeing as I moved here in search of gold (better job) about a year ago. Perhaps with taking this course I will gain an interest in keeping up with politics and government because it does affect me so much! |
