| Introduction | About me ? .......... Well i m a mariner brought up in Chennai , Tamil nadu ....... Started my career on Maritime industry wen i joined T.S.Rahaman for Pre Sea Trainng on the 1st Jan 1999 .......... Further Came 5th rank in my Pre sea rankings and Got the 200 out of 200 in the celestial navigation paper ( Only one in the Batch to get that ) ........ Did my three years ( 37 months ) seatime as a apprentice ( Deck Cadet ) onboard 3 merchant ships (Bulk Carrier / Timber carrier / General Cargo / Container ships ) in the company "Univan Ship Management Ltd" ...... then after completing my sea time did my Second mates education at National Institute of Port Management ( NIPM ) as it was formerly called ........ cleared my second mates exams in chennai ......... Sailed as Third officer on 2 Ships ( Reefer / Container ) with Univan Ship Management and later shifted company to Msc Ship Management Ltd where in served on 2 Container ships as second officer ........... at present sailing with MSC as Chief mate |
