Introduction I am a photographer, with a dance background. I've dedicated my life to various forms of art in addition to my professional marketing life. I began my creative studies in dance and choreography at the age of 13. I later went onto study dance in college to get a B.A. from the prestigious CSULB dance department. I have always had an affinity to photography even at a young age however it wasn't till my dance rehearsals that I decided to reintroduced film photography into my life and in-cooperating it into my dances. I worked a lot with double exposure. I had continued to have an interest in the expression, but it didn't become serious till after college. I produced shows, choreographed, worked in marketing and made additional money by taking headshots of friends that were actors and dancers. I decided to take photography classes at UCLA to further my interest. In 2015 I decided to join my husband, Salim Demirel, another talented photographer to take professional shots for weddings and portraits of artists. Currently, I mostly take cooperate photos while I work as a marketing associate and continue with Fine Art/ Editorial/Portrait photography when time permits.
