Introduction I seem to have lots of spare time. Spend half the day doing dick all. The other half writing about doing dick all.
Interests Making and listening to Dubstep. Reading - Fantasy, Historical Fiction mainly. Stephen Fry. Wasting time (sigh).
Favorite Movies I'll start from the earliest i suppose. The ones that had me and my sibblings dribbling at the TV while our parents enjoyed blessed peace. Original Star Wars Trilogy (i hated pretty much everything about the new trilogy.) Sinbad the Sailor. The one with the Sabre Tooth Tiger frozen in ice and the metal Minotaur bloke. And a cage was there too i think. Clash of the Titans. (The original) So, so much better than the new piece of shit. How do they do it? How do they take a great film and ruin it? All they had to do was follow the original. Don't bother with the special effects wank off. If you haven't seen it watch the original and in particular the medusa scene. It is so much creepier. It had me terrified as a child. I've forced children to watch it since. They won't even talk about it. Land Before Time. Legend. Princess Bride. (Still great. Watch it.) Willow. Masters of the Universe. Krull. Goonies. Temple of Doom. Jurrasic Park. Ace Ventura 1 and 2. Dumb and Dumber. Me, Myself and Irene. Truman Show. Eternal Sunshine. I'm getting tired of listing films now so i'll just rattle some off. Bourne 1 2 3 300 Sin City Lord of the Rings 1 2 3 Event Horizon Pulp Fiction Reservoir Dogs Fear and Loathing and the greatest ever in my mind THE BIG LEBOWSKI
Favorite Music Drum and Bass Dubstep Breaks Rock Decent (older) Hip Hop Tina Turner
Favorite Books Probably the Wheel of Time series. It has been a long and emotional journey. A journey i didn't even start at the beginning. I picked it up years after the 1st had been published. I think there were 9 out already. Each book as thick as a Lord of the Rings or 23 Fantastic Mr Fox'. Read up to Book 9. Waited for Book 10. Read Book 10. Lost job through lack of sleep. Waited for Book 11. Waited and waited. Book 11 released. Read it. Trembled. Waited for Book 12. Tragically Robert Jordan (the author) passed away before completing his epic work. It is epic. Brandon Sanderson has picked up the mantel using Jordans notes and dictated story. The final book is so large and filled with finely woven plots that it has been split into a further 3 books. The 1st of these 3 was released recently and i devooured it. It was excellent. Now i wait again.
