About me

Introduction You'd think by the time you reached the ripe old age of 67, you would have at least an inkling of what you want to do when you grow up. Actually, I'm still working on that. I've been a writer most of my life. Starting as a technical writer, which was a disaster, I somehow found myself writing TV soap operas. I admit that was a pretty strange transition. I worked on most of the soaps, but my all-time favorite was "Santa Barbara," because they actually let me "write funny." After the soap operas came to an end, I wrote "Letters from Cleo and Tyrone" (St. Martin's Press) with my partner and friend, L. Virginia Browne. Since then I've been toiling on "Boobs Over Hollywood," which I find endlessly amusing. Unfortunately, publishers don't seem to share my amusement. Upon retirement, my husband and I (along with our critters) moved from big, old, mean L.A. to a small town in Oregon. It suits us perfectly.
