| Introduction | A long long time ago in a small town in Michigan lived a young boy who learned to love reading and writing. Eventually he grew old, wrinkled and - balding, yet the urge to create something meaningful out of words never faded. I know that all bloggers must feel this way. Yes, I love to jam along with friends to the blues; There is nothing finer than lacing up my New Balances shoes and heading down the beach on a five-mile run; A pint of white ale can be a magnificent end to a glorious summer day. But most of all, I love to hear stories about the loves, lives, and adventures that surround us through family and friends. There would be little of value to write about without all of you. |

| Favorite movies | The Unforgiven (cowboy movies rock!), Raging Bull, (we used to love watching boxing with our dad), Avatar - comic books and science fiction were staples, growing up. |
| Favorite music | Anything that has a catchy hook and well written lyrics from Motown to Mraz. Currently on an Old Crow Medicine Show craze. |
| Favorite books | Beginning with "Dinny The Dinosaur" and ending with "The Falls" by Joyce Carol Oates I like almost any type of novel. Secretly I'm a sap for books like "The Quilter's Apprentice" or "The Secret Life Of Bees", but don't tell any of my manly friends. |
