| Introduction | Bridget Jones may have been one of my heroes. Not because she smokes like chimney and blabbers like a fool but because she can and she acknowledges it. I used to have this notion that one day, when I die, people will find a secret diary of mine. Remember that faded old diaries-- leathery, with locks? Faded pages and worn-out covers? Years later, a kid or someone linking to me might find it in an attic, dusty and forgotten. But when opened, a whole new world begins. I blame watching too many adventure movies.. I am mixing it with drama. The point is, if someone takes a peek at my life-- and i mean the whole spread--- would one just peek, or would one be interested enough to blow the dust away, straighten the pages and read on til the very end? I am no actress, I am not famous. I used to be on television for a quiz bee but that doesn't even count.. but in my daydream, I would like that kid to take a closer look at the life of someone ordinary but has braved through life and has given love and life all that she has... |
