| Introduction | Over the past 25 years I have cultivated a passion, not only for the sensual delights of wine itself but also for its history, its science and certainly for the wonderful personalities that drive the industry. For the most of the people who travail in this sector it is a true vocation. I hope that I can chronicle some of my experiences in this blog as a tribute to the broad array of characters that I have stumbled upon over the years. Last year I studied for and was awarded the Wines and Spirits Educational Trust’s Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits and received a "Certificat" from the "Vins du Val De Loire" organisation for completing their wine tasting course of the wines of the Loire between the Pays Nantais (Nantes) to Touraine Angers). |
