| Introduction | Hello, I have spent 16 years, many as a full-time Parent Volunteer in our schools. I was Co-founder and former Director of the Organization, Parents Focused on Education© and the author of a series of Parental How-to Guide Booklets titled, Parents Taking Charge. Mrs. Dorothy Barron is the recipient of over 30 awards and/or recognition (from past US Presidents, Office of a former US First Lady, former US Secretary of Education, Governor of the State of Georgia, Georgia’s State Superintendent of Education, PTAs, individual schools, community organizations, and businesses) for her volunteer service and contributions to our youth and community.
