| Introduction | I am a 30-something married woman with no children, except for an adorable 8 year old boxer/pit dog named Maggie. I am the youngest of 3 children and was raised in church. I was saved when I was 13 and while my Christian walk has been anything but straight and smooth, I have, generally, walked the path that I believe the Lord wanted me to take. I have been on the top of many wonderful peaks as well as being buried beneath a few deep valleys. Through it all, the Lord was by me. He never left my side. He was there, waiting, for me to reach out my hand and accept His strength and His forgiveness and His unconditional love. |
| Interests | I enjoy reading, writing short stories and novels, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I am active in my church and enjoy serving the Lord. |
| Favorite movies | I have eclectic taste in movies, and music, for that matter. My favorite musical would have to be "Singing in the Rain". My favorite drama is probably "Gone With The Wind". My favorite comedy is "Space Balls". I know, VERY corny, but I love it. My favorite animated film is "Aladdin". My favorite romance is tied between "Ever After" and "Sense and Sensibility". I enjoy horror films, but not if it's something that could ACTUALLY happen. I don't do well with those. |
| Favorite music | Hands down -- Frank Sinatra. Anything by Frank Sinatra. I also love Billie Holiday, Bing Crosby, and Louis Armstrong. As well as Queen, The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Matchbox 20, Toby Keith, Casting Crowns, the group "Phillips, Craig, and Dean", FFH, and Greater Vision. Those artists alone spanned across jazz, the big band era, rock, Christian, to Southern Gospel. |
| Favorite books | I love anything by Dee Henderson. I also read Dean Koontz, Iris Johansen mysteries, Catherine Coulter mysteries, and anything Shakespeare. |
