| Introduction | I've been making bears since 1989 on & off. I've been a stamping & paper craft teacher, Sewing & needle work teacher & fashion jewelry teacher. You can find me teaching from time to time at Teddy Bits and Bear Essence. Before I was married in (1988) I worked as a designer\pattern maker and a quallity controler. In 1989 I started making bears for the twins I was expecting. Then came the sudden birth of Ben & Josh, sadley we lost both boys. But I have continued making bears ever since. What was once therapy has now become my consuming passion. Each little new bear brings an over all joy thats hard to explain. Davie and I are very lucky we now have 3 great kids, Ellie-rose, Duncan and Alyssa. They are my biggest fans, they are also the first to tell me if something is not quite right with one. They keep me on track, the're my quality controlers. We also have 2 ducks, 8 chickens, 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 horses and a rat. I have loads of inspiration here. |
