| Introduction | I'm Melanie (aka Miss Melvis) and I started blog at A Bit Of Mel Time. I previously wrote a book blog, but I found I wanted to share my love for lots of things alongside the books I love. A Bit Of Mel Time is all about the things I do when I get a bit of "Me Time". I love to read as much as possible and have done so since a young age. Now in my thirties, I love nothing more than curling up with a good book. I enjoy reviewing the books I read and still intend to write the occasional book review. I also have a renewed passion for sewing, having plugged in a sewing machine for the first time for 15 years. I love to bake, I'm learning to knit and I enter a few competitions when I have time. I live in the UK with my partner, Mark (aka Mr Melvis), our 2 dogs and 3 cats. Together, we enjoy spending time in the garden, BBQs and regular visits to the beach and local parks with the dogs. I am regular volunteer for the Post Pals charity (www.postpals.co.uk), along with my highly talented dog, Izzy and together we have taken part in sponsored events for several local and national charities. |
