You moved the pot before the coffee stopped brewing. Do you smell the mountains or the burro?
I have no idea how to answer this. I have done this before on those mornings when I gotta have my coffee NOW. I don't smell anything different. I replace the pot after pouring myself some and then clean up what spilled with a wad of paper towels. A wad in terms of Bounty or the equivalent is about 3 or 4 sheets. If using a dollar store brand, a wad is equivalent to 8 or 9 sheets.
