| Introduction | My Polish-born parents booked it out of Poland for various reasons and at various times. My time was such that I was brought unto this earth in good 'ol Massachusetts in 1976. After being schooled, raised, loved and cared for over 25 years in the US, I booked it to Poland. A big part of it was the whole "find your roots thing", though I hope it was more than that! One part more was my conviction to be active in the lgbt rights movement here. I felt like I was lucky enough to have lived in places like Boston where I had a gay gym, friends, dentist, health care...you name it. Here I felt like I could make a difference. And hell, five years later I'm still here. We still got a lot of work to do! |
