Introduction I am a blogger, certified public school administrator and school attendance teacher. I studied American education history at the doctoral level defended a thesis on the Puerto Rican bibliophile Arthur A. Schomburg (1874-1938). I have lectured extensively, serving as a curator of exhibits on Schomburg in many institutions in Central and Western New York. I am one of the few Schomburg scholars today lecturing on his Puerto Rican heritage, and his contributions to the history of American education and black intellectual history. Also, a tenured school attendance teacher, served as chairperson of the New York State Attendance Teachers Association and executive board member. Also, past delegate chair, delegate, alternate, council of delegates in the union, and New York State Delegate to the NEA Representative Assembly.
