Why do you think honeydew is the money melon?

It was once called 'honey melon' but, for a brief and not well known period, honey became used as money. Because people thought honey could be extracted from the melon, people wanted to use it to make their own money. So due to increased demand for the melon, it's price soared. With the honey dew being so expensive, it started being called 'money melon'.
