About me

Introduction	I received the shock of my life when I was diagnosed with diabetes 2 weeks after I turned 25. Now every second of every day, diabetes is with me no matter how much I might want to ignore it. I’d like to think that I’ve figured things out pretty well over the last year and a half. I don’t know everything, but every day I know more about myself, my disease, and what it takes for me to stay healthy. I've also at times been known to look and feel like a pin cushion. I am not a medical professional and you should always consult your doctor to determine what works best for you and your health.
