| Introduction | I started my photography business about six years ago while I was still teaching 3rd grade (8 year olds rock!). I swore I would never do weddings...and look at me now! I love being a part of something so sacred and beautiful. Don't get me wrong, I still go crazy over little newborn fingers and toes and I have been known to get a bit teary-eyed when taking generational family portraits. After the birth of our first child, I left teaching to be a full time wife and Mommy. Even though that has turned out to be even harder than teaching... I still couldn't stay away from my camera. With my family's blessing and my husband's encouragement, I've continued on with my photography into the "digital era". I feel fortunate enough to first be a film photographer. Knowing how cameras work and knowing how to get that perfect exposure is important no matter what medium you are using. I've been able to transfer that knowledge over to my digital equipment to make beautiful pictures. I would love to help you capture your special moments in any way I can. Basically, I'm a former 3rd grade teacher, turned Mommy, turned full time photographer! I love it! |
