About me

Gender Female
Location The Beach, Southern California, United States
Introduction I'm in my mid-40's, married nearly 25 years but bi, believe in polyamory and have an Irish beloved. Mother of two sons, 10 and 12. Degrees in literature and history. Many years teaching, but also worked in printing, bookselling and music. On disability due to severe lupus, other autoimmune disorders and severe depression. I'm a chronic pain patient due to migraine. Gastric bypass surgery has led to almost 200 pounds of weight loss. I will never return to work. I'm a professional patient and unofficial patient advocate: I work supporting other AI and chronic pain patients. A Wiccan priestess who sends her son to Catholic school. Don't drink or smoke, but I'm a Diet Coke addict. I'm eccentric by choice as well as nature, passionate, socially inept, intolerant of people who don't think for themselves. People like me or hate me: if they like me I'm "intense"; if they don't, I'm a bitch.
Interests My family, my friends, patient advocacy, oral culture and literacy, history, literature, film, music, spirituality, needlework.
