| Introduction | So why "Nezu"? Most of my new friends don't use it, but if you met me in college, high school, or junior high (or are related to me), it's probably the moniker you use. It is short for the Japanese "Nezumi", meaning mouse. My friends and I sat in a study hall in seventh grade with a English-Japanese Dictionaries and gave each other names - Laurel, Angel, Demon, Shadow, Cat, etc. I was a shy, frumpy tomboy that kept to myself and scrawled superheroes on my math notes, quiet as a mouse. The name stuck, but thankfully I've developed some social niceties since then! |
