| Introduction | Paul and Corita spent a combined total of seventy years in the television business. As a show host/anchor/producer, Paul had several long-running series on the Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, PBS stations and also criss-crossed the country in the popular RV-based show "Experience America". Most recently he was the on-camera presence and voice of the PBS series "America's Heartland", a celebration of our agricultural roots. Corita has been a long-time series/documentary producer and also traveled the world putting together something like 2000 individual stories on everything from an oddball mummy museum in Mexico to a Vietnamese version of "Soul Train". When Paul and Corita became too old and unemployable they decided to do what they do best: eat, drink and hit the road. They clearly love the itinerant RV lifestyle. In 2009, with the help of a friend, they rescued a Jack Russell terrier puppy from a San Diego crack house and stole some crack while they were at it. Now they eat, drink, drive and smoke crack. (Strike the "smoke crack" and "drink and drive" part.) |
