Introduction	Thanks for joining me on this journey! I am an artist, mom of a 3 year old (and a 21 & 19 year old), trying to work from home, liberal in one of the red states. A died in the wool "do it yourself girl." My decorating motto is Repurpose, Reuse, Refinish and Rearrange. Good design does NOT have to be expensive. I would much rather live in a world surrounded by treasures having character and a story than a room full of brand new décor pieces. Seriously, is there anything worse than walking into someone else’s home and seeing the exact same thing you just bought? Years of artistic expression made it clear that my life would be centered around my passion for art and all things creative. I studied graphic design and nurtured an appreciation for fine arts in college. Owned a floral and gift gallery for several years. On that leg of my journey I learned that I hate accounting and also while the dream of owning a cute little retail shop is one so many women share…it was not for me. Working from home affords me freedom, flexibility and family time. Thanks again for stopping by.
