Introduction	I’ve always wanted to do an informal music blog where I can share what bands I just heard or read about. I spend more hours than I’d like to admit searching for new bands and listening to the classics. Too bad that can’t be my full time job! I think my obsession with music started when I was a kid. I have a distinct memory of driving around with my dad listening to the Dobbie Brothers, being slightly embarrased of his singing and dancing abilities, but knew this would define a part of me… Music. Although I no longer reside in the "Live Music Capital of the world", I am constantly going to see shows It makes me still feel connected to Austin in a strange way. The feeling after seeing a band you like perform “the best show you’ve ever seen” is addictive, for me at least. So this is me in a nutshell… I simply just want to tell people what bands I’m obsessed with on any given week and why. Nothing fancy, just me.
Interests	Duh... music... and animals. Red wine is also important to me.
Favorite movies	Amelie, Pretty in Pink, The Big Lebowski
Favorite music	tough one... Joy Division, Talking Heads, Led Zeppelin, Otis Redding, The Cure, New Order, Twin Shadow, Deerhunter, Arcade Fire, Spoon, Harlem, Beach Fossils, Wild Nothings, Future Islands

Can someone please teach me to play an instrument? It's ridiculous that I don't know how to.
