| Introduction | I am Ted Whitney and I grew up in Savannah, Tennessee. I am the 10th of 12 children and I had a great mom who did her very best to raise all of us. I took the non-traditional route to attain my education. Growing up poor, I did not know I could go to college. I earned my Bachelor's degree when I was 39 years old. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Higher Education Leadership and I count it a blessing to be able to do so. My wife and I have been married for almost 25 years and we have 3 grown kids ages 23, 21, and 19. Every day I think that I am so blessed to be a husband and a father. One of my favorite verses is 1 Timothy 1:15 that says, "This is a trustworthy statement and worthy of acceptance that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst."
